How do I send a letter to a different country from the US?

I want to send a letter to Britain. How do I do it and about how much would it cost? It's just a small paper envelope.

Sorry if it's a dumb question, I'm 13 and I've never mailed a letter before... ^_^;;

just go to the post office nearby put a stamp on it which every regarding country you want to send. Ask the postmaster for diff countries stamp payment.

And just post it.

Go to the postal service web site (www.usps.gov), and it will tell you exactly.

i would put a few stamps on it just in case, or if u can get to post office, they will tell u exactly how much it is and apply to postage amount themselves...
