How do I send a photo overseas?

I'm trying to send a photo to a friend in Australia from my home in Connecticut, USA.

How much postage will I need?

Do I address the envelope horizontally or vertically (the print is 11x8)?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi apple

Put the pic in between two thin piece of cardboard. You can put the address vertically or horizontally. Makes no difference and the cost is the same.

The cost is roughly under $2.00

sandwich the photo between 2 sheets of cardboard in a large flat envelope. cut the cardboard to fit the envelope. take it to the post office and stand in line for help with mailing choices.
