How do I send a pic on yahoo mail from my documents folder?

I tried copy and paste, but that did not work

open mail>click on new message>click on the paper clip which says attachments>this will bring up a browse box>on the browse box click tiny arrow at right side until you see "my documents "listed>open my documents>find picture  icon you wanrt to send >click on it and it will upload into mail for you as an attachment
