  1. Hi Lizzy Borden,

Just make your video and save it.  It should save as a MP4, QuickTime, or .mov file.  I'm not sure whether a Windows PC can view those file formats with their Windows Media player.  I think that there is a Quicktime player available for Windows at the Apple web site:

    http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

Your friend with the Windows PC might need to download that to view your video.  Best of luck.

  2. If sending a video email, definitely encode to Flash web video. Its best web video format to use for a number of reasons...

If you encode to Flash, you will have a much wider range of both PCs & Macs which will be able to more easily view your video emails.

A great added benefit is that Flash web video converts to a much smaller size than other formats.

Convert to Flash for your web video emails regardless of platform - and also think about dropping those same videos on a personal website if you wish to share them.

I am a TV producer with 21 years of experience and I find that the best quality & easiest to use program is hands down Easy Web Video V2F.
