I'm trying to send an evite from evite.com to an entire yahoo group. I plug in the yahoo group email, but it's not sending. Is there a way to send that out to all of them as individual guests without having each of their personal emails?

  1. If you are the owner you could post it on your group board and send it as a special notice.  That still won't go to those who have elected not to receive posts but will reach more members than a regular post.

  2. I've gotten them from group owners privately, but never through a whole group. if you're not the owner, it could be tagged as spam in the spam filter, maybe you're moderated and it was deleted. maybe Yahoo groups block them totally.

  3. Type groupname_subscribe@yahoogroups.com

  4. Allow me to add that I assume you are sending the email to

groupname@yahoogroups.com. I also assume that the group is set up to accept and send out emails that are sent to it like that. (Some are not) If that addressed message is not getting through it is possible that the moderator is checking all messages before they post and is rejecting this.
