Question:

How do I send my Xbox 360 back to Microsoft for refurbishment, not repair?

I heard that I could send my Xbox 360 back to Microsoft and they would refurbish it for me, NOT REPAIR, BUT REFURBISH. Does anyone know how to do this? Also, does anyone know the cost of this refurbish process?

All I can find at microsoft.com is for an IN-WARRANTY REPAIR, nothing for refurbish or out-of-warranty repair.

  1. they will send you a different refurbished xbox and a refurbished xbox is basically one that had a problem and got fixed so your getting a repaired xbox regardless

  2. Yeah they refurbish it anyway, and to find out all the info, go to microsoft support site or phone them, id phone them.

  3. Just call xbox tech support and set it up.

  4. When you send it back they will refurbish it anyway. They used to just swap it for anew one but now thay will refurbish your Xbox.

    Hope this helps!
