I have a 5 pound Styrofoam package of chicken b*****s that I just threw in my freezer yesterday when I got home from the grocery store. Now I want to get one piece without thawing the entire package. How do I separate one piece when they are all frozen together?

  1. a saw.  Otherwise you probably won't be able to pry them apart without tearing them up.

  2. make sure they are still sealed and drop them on the floor

  3. um.. try prying it apart witha butter knife or something.. or defrost the whole back and have alot of chicken for the next few days. (=

  4. run water over the part you want to pull out from the rest, and then stick the rest back in the freezer

  5. take a sharp knife or butter knife and put it in between the two pieces of chicken and pry them a part, trust me, it works, i do it practically EVERY night

  6. break them against the edge of a countertop, or use a knife.

  7. Carefully, use a knife or a cleaver preferefbly to pry them apart. If you work at it, they will come apart. Ive done this many times. If you have to, just run some hot water over it and that will help too, Then just put the rest right back in the freezer, or go ahead and loosen them all up while you are at it, and put them in seperate baggies, and then refreeze them, They will be fine, because you are not thawing them all the way out, just loosesning up the ice on them

  8. Do you *really* know how to properly disassemble frozen chicken b*****s?  First, you literally have to *BREAK them apart* -- one from  another.  Then, you should place them -- one chicken breast package at a time -- into a Microwave Oven for about 30 seconds on *High* to thaw them down to approx. room temp.  THEN -- you should use a *sharp* carving knife to cut away the 'wishbones -- all in one neat, completely 'V'-shaped piece. NEXT -- (for breast pieces not having wings and legs attached) -- one should carefully slice off -- evenly spaced -- approximately 1/4" thick slabs of white meat from both sides of the white meat section of the body of the chicken

  9. with a hammer and chizel...lol

  10. u cant

  11. you really cant ,you can try using water to defrost a little and try to separate them by force but you may damage the chicken when doing so

  12. pour hot water on it =/
