I am Windows Vista Home Premium, running Norton AntiVirus 2008 with Antispyware.

LimeWire displays the symbol that it's not connected to the internet and if I try to download a bit torrent file, it opens a pop-up that says "Cannot listen to port 8744"

When I open Norton Protection Center, there are two tabs, one says "Home" and the other "Norton Antivirus ."

On the side, there's a list of menus, including "Options," that can open two menus, "Norton Protection Center (Options)" and "Norton Antivirus (Options)."

Where do I go to allow Limewire to access the internet?

  1. you need to allow Limewire through your firewall.

  2. You should use uTorrent. Trust me, I tried Limewire for a while and it was way to slow, it uses way to much memory on the computer.

Just click on the uTorrent icon.
