How do I set a tempo on my bass effects board??

Now the manuel is unclear this is when you play something and it plays back and repeats right Ohh and I have the Boss ME-50B Bass Effects Board...I know Im not worth thank God for rich Grandparents

Press and hold  Delay/MOD for two seconds. It should start the metronome. then use the k**b on the left just above the pedal you used to turn it on. it should say rate/time. and you can set the tempo from that.
