you set the selection k**b to SCN which is for "scenes" then quickly hit left or right on the menu k**b till you find "Fireworks"

that will tell the camera to take a 2 second shot at f/8

you need to keep the camera still with a tripod, or set it on somethin sturdy while its takin the pic
