How do I set photos as my background on my hiptop?

I dont know how to set my photos as my background on my new hiptop. It says nothing about it in the instructions. Can you please help?

yeah, for some reason they don't want you to be able to set photos as wallpaper, i find it very stupid too. i had the sidekick lx and i found a site that let me download wallpapers and themes all free too!! you can even make your own theme or upload your own pic and download it in the format you need to put it on your phone. they even tell you step by step how to do it. good luck!!
