How do I set the clock on my comcast digital cable box?

Its very simple to display the Current TIME instead of the current channel.

Press 'settings' or 'menu' two times.

Press the 'V' (down arrow) untill you get to the new page and have [SETUP] Hilighted.

press 'ok' or 'enter'

press 'v' two times

press '<' once

press 'exit'

and VOILA!

The clock should set itself if it's connected to active cable service. I have Charter digital cable and I've never had to set the clock.

If you're talking about the TIMER, you go to the interactive menu and look for "SET UP" or "VCR Timers".

You dont set the clock---you turn it on in the cable box menu.  Go into menu--look for set up and select to display---instead of current channel change it to current time
