I currently have a pc and a laptop. Sometimes I use my PC to check my e-mails, sometimes I use the lap top. My problem is that even though they're both checking the same account, I have half my e-mails on one computer and half on another. I want to set it up so that I am using the same program on both the computers. My computers are already networked via a router and I can file share between them, I just don't know how to get the program to be networked. Can someone please help me out?

  1. You need to setup your computers up to access your e-mail account using the IMAP protocol.  Your ISP will need to support this.   Check your ISP's website and find their help section on setting up e-mail and follow the instructions.

IMAP leaves your e-mail stored on your ISP's server so you can access it from any computer.   However, it's downside is that your ISP may have restrictions on how much e-mail you can store on their server.
