How do I set up a pub pool team?

Hi. I love playing pool and so do a few people in the pub. Looking to join a league in the Wiltshire/ Gloucestershire area. Anyone got some info on how to go about this? your help is aprreciated

take it your local pub has pool table.. if yes then thas a start.. ask the pub to put ads up to get enough players to make a team then best bet after that found out which other pubs in the area are in a league when you find one go to the pub when the two teams are playing then get talking to one of the captains of one of the teams.. he should be able to help you with all the things you will need to join the league...

You need a stick to hit the ball with.  If you are female, maybe a hockey stick or knitting needle.

Next, you put money in the machine, and poke the balls with your stick.

If the balls drop, you win the prize, which is another game.  Or something.

you need to get enough people and contact another local team who will give you the information on how to enter the league. as entry requirements and details are different for different areas and leagues

What you could do is ask your local paper to advertise it and see if anyone else responds.

Or what you could do is go to other pubs in your are with flyers, posters advertising the possibility of setting it up.

Perhaps just start with arranging your own team and then trying to set up a game against another pub and take it from there.
