  1. You have received some great advice. So if you are seeking to build a website of your own, it is important to read the guidelines for marketing and advertising practices.

Centralmaineavonlady offered great advice for setting up a company replicated website. I would like to add one bit of advice. Just know that your website traffic will generally come by word of mouth, whether online or off. It is important to know this so you do not expect a stream of customers for $7.50 or free each month. The replicated website can be a good tool if you learn how to send people there. There are many ways to market yourself on the net to attract customers.

If Avon does allow you to market using your own independent website. I would recommend this route as well. There is no better way to present your self and generate targeted visitors then by building a high quality site that is warm and appealing.

    Best Regards!

  2. just like the person above me view there terms and agreements

Domains cost as low as $10.00/month upto $50.00+/month for my own business im staying with a free website (Zoomshare.com) etc,

    GOOD LUCK!

  3. You simply become an erep. Avon sets up the website for you and you can customize it from "web office". It does cost $7.50 per campaign but this fee is waived if you get at least one person in that campaign to place an order online.

Avon only allows you to use the website they set up for you.

  4. Well, I use either www.domainsbot.com or www.eurodns.com (because I can search for a bunch of domains at once with them) to see what's available...

Then i go to www.dreamhost.com, where i buy them for $9.95 each and then hosting. I like Dreamhost because you can host as many domains as you want (I think i have over 30...) for the same price, like, $5 a month or something. lol. I made up a code for my blog (www.theGirlwithaPearl.com) to give readers one free domain (for life) and $20 off a one year plan (which is what I'd recommend, though several years is good, but more expensive).... so if you use Dreamhost, type in the code PEARL15, for that.... then, if you want to set up a quick site until you can pay someone to design one, I'd suggest www.weebly.com, and use some stock photos from www.istockphoto.com, or use some that Avon supplies.... well, you'd want some of those anyway, of course. :-)

  5. Before even considering setting up a website for selling Avon, check your distributor's agreement which may contain a prohibition to sell via the internet which is a right reserved exclusively by Avon.

    Good luck!
