How do I set up a wireless connection?

I have a D-Link Wireless Adapter, how do I search for and connect to a router?

It is very simple. First you install the wireless card to your computer. Next, you go to networking places , then click on the left side view network connection. Once you done that you should see to Icons on the page, one that says local area conection, the second one should say wireless connection.

Right click on it and it should have view avaliable networks.

Once you click on that it should show you networks that you could tap into, but some have security so you can't get in

Install the software that came with the adapter and just follow the wizard to get a connection!  I just bought a D-Link adapter too and it works great as long as there is a wifi connection close enough, i.e. nextdoor lol.
