I have heard that using two monitors can be a big increase in productivity. How do I know if my computer can handle it and how do I set it up?

  1. you need to have a card that supports two monitors. Will usually have two outputs on the card. one for each monitor.

then basically all you need to do is right click on your desktop and select properties. Under settings tab there is a box to select "Extend my windows desktop"

  2. To use two monitors you need two video cards or a video card that accepts two monitors. It is a great tool cuz you can work in two windows at once.

  3. if u have 2 VGA outputs or 2 DVI outputs then u are halfway there, then ya just need to buy to two screens..... i have 2 screens its awsome.... i like it so much im going to be getting 3 screens soon! i have one 24" dell screen and i want two dell 22"...i love it!

to check for the spec go to the back of ure PC and if u hve 2 blue or two white output ports then u r in buisness

  4. I dont know if you would be able to do this, especially if they share the same mouse, because when you move it on one screen, it will appear on the other, same with typing something out....
