  1. i was having the same problem. it is hard to give advice off the internet, but heres wat i got to say. First, ball position, make sure the ball is just off your left pinky toe if you are a righty. The a ball has to be really far up in your stance, switch around if you want, but this is what i normally do. Second, check you shoulders, make sure your left shoulder (im assuming ur a righty) is tilted higher than your right shoulder. Next check your grip, your left hand should be rolled a little over the grip, so your left arm is straight. Then, turn your left toe about 30 degrees, so it is pointing a little bit open.  Finally, make sure you are swining with your weight behind the ball. If you need to, you can swing slower than you normally do, in order to hit the ball with more accuracy. This really helped me hit the ball further and straighter. good luck :)

  2. Each person has different form when they swing, height, strengths and perception.

What I did was had my clubs set to my pitch modifed for what works best for me.

I use 10.5 loft and I drive the ball average between 250 to 300 yards.

  3. The best way to hit a lower trajectory is to move the ball closer the center of your stance.  Normally people tee the ball on the inside of your front foot, however if you are hitting the ball to high in the air you can moving the ball closer to center will help prevent this.  Also make sure you are not teeing you ball too high.

Other hints is to make sure you transferring you weight to front foot as you are hitting the ball, leaving your weight on you back foot and leaning back(usually in  attempt to hit the ball harder) can also cause you to hit a ball high.

    Good luck!

  4. At the golf course I used to work at, one of the pros told me I come in at the ball too steep.  He said I don't really have to take a whole coil of a swing.  I mean that if it feels forced or unnatural to bring the club back behind you so its parallel to the ground, then shorten up the backswing.  It make feel more like a slap shot, but I have found that I keep the ball in the middle of the fairway most of the time now, I haven't lost any distance, I don't ever hit the crazy "sky high" drive that goes only about 200 yards, and now I get a ton of roll.  I have a taylor made r7 driver, with 8.5 degrees of loft, that I got for free from working there and that feels pretty good to me.  Also, if you are right handed, maybe try putting that ball to the right a few inches rather than just inside your left foot.  Take a three quarter swing next time, swing just as hard, get the tempo  right, and it might work.

  5. If you hit your driver well.... dont change your swing.. consider changing your shaft

low kick point... higher ball flight.. high trajectory

mid kick point ... mid ball flight... mid trajectory

high kick point ... low ball flight... low trajectory

    OR

see a swing coach.. noone knows your swing

  6. Moving farther from the ball will flatten your swing. Is your trajectory too low or too high? Taking the club back a little more to the inside will flatten your swing also.
