I have two laptops connected via wireless router. I would like to share the ENTIRE hard drives of both. Does anyone know is there one fell swoop that will make this happen?

  1. you didn't tell us what operating system you have on the two machines.

so i'll assume you are running windows XP.

Over a wireless network especially you need to be very careful about sharing your files. most wireless networks are wide open; anyone can connect to them and if you have windows file and print sharing active they can connect to your drives so please review the "sources" listed below for more info on securing wireless home networks..

the second link walks you through all the necessary steps to configure file sharing

  2. Right click on the drive (in Explorer, My Computer, whatever you prefer calling it).  Click Sharing.  Share the whole drive.  (It'll take some time if you have a lot of files.)

That won't let you clone one laptop to the other - programs have to be installed, not copied.  (You can clone the drive using dd - a linux utility.  It'll clone the drive no matter what operating system is on it.)
