  1. just highlight 2 and right click your mouse. then select "font" on the list of options that will appear. another selection box will appear and look for "effects". under effects check the subscript box and you're good to go. this is definitely a sure way. =)


  2. subscript ( look for the x2 symbol, with the 2 below the baseline) under fonts... use the help function if necessary. word

  3. Highlight the number two, right click on it, go to font, and then check the little box on the bottom of the page that says "subscript"
