How do I shorten a video??

I'm trying to shorten a video, but I dont know how. THe reason why I'm doing this, is because I wanna put it on my BEBO! So..please someone tell me how to make a video shorten, and make it easy STEP by STEP

do you have a Windows PC? if so you have windows movie maker

1)open Windows movie maker

2) look under Import on the left hand side>>.click videos

3) find the video you want to import

4)highlight it

5)click 'import'

6)drag it onto the timeline

7) then you can shorten the video

8) now click 'publish movie'

9) publish it to 'this computer'

10)put file name and where to publish it to

11)click next

12)leave the settings as they are on the page

13)click 'publish'

14)log into bebo

15)upload your video

if you are not running windows on your computer then you should have similar editing software and shouldn't be much different to the answer above
