  1. Hmm, I guess you need to get the community before you can get the project. Have you got a team ready to go, or others who share your ideas?

If not, you might want to join a local action group, or start one. Even if that's as simple as placing an advert or putting up a poster.

Or if you want to do it online, there's a website called celsias.com where you can register grassroots environmental programs. You can write up what you're planning, and hopefully meet some like-minded people and raise funds.

  2. check around to find resources to help. in my area there are a lot of good ones. there are classes one can take, there are social groups, and there are a lot of farmers who are dedicated to the CSA concept and would love to help out. I do a lot of google searches *gasp* for whatever i am interested in. i enter the topic and the name of my town and i come up with a lot. also, i think someone else said this too, you can contact your local Ag extension office and see what they can tell you.

  3. Do you have a local farmers market or group in your area?  An FFA (Future Farmers of America) group?

Check your local community extension office or county to see if they have any suggestions.

Talk to your neighbors, see who has the green thumbs and/or experience.

    Good luck!

  4. First you can have a nice little chat with the punks, gang members, and homeless people, and ask them to please not vandalize  it.  And after they give you their very valuable promise, proceed.
