I want to put my picture on my You Tube Channel but it keeps on saying that my picture is too big so I need to shrink it. How do I shrink my picture in order for it to fit?

  1. Microsoft has a free program that you can download and use to resize pictures:

    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using...

or you could use FastStone Image Viewer, which is also free and very handy for managing digital images. Get it here:

  2. You can use MSPaint or something like Adobe PhotoShop. Since more than likely you don't own a (legal) copy of PS, you can just open it on MSPaint, then under Image, select Stretch/Skew. You will see that its set to a 100%. Make the adjustments there on BOTH. So If you put 50% in one, make sure you put it in the other. Hit OK then save. Bam, smaller image. Also try to save it as .jpg since it has "better" compression. As oposed to .bmp which has none.

  3. GIMP (don't mind the name) is a free image editor that and is capable of doing pretty much anything photoshop can do. It has a very different interface than photoshop but learning how to use it is pretty simple. Just open your image up in it and choose "Image > Scale" from the image window.
