How do I sign in to a Yahoo Group as a moderator?

The group exists but I haven't signed in for years. I have a record of the group name and my password but it doesn't work just to sign into Yahoo. Is there another sign in location?

  1. if you haven't signed into your ID for that long, that ID is long gone and there is no way to get that back- Yahoo help form could help if it was recent.  unless the owner of the group can reassign you as moderator under a new ID, you're no longer a moderator. sorry.

  2. create/start the yahoo group. be the founder/moderator.

  3. I recently signed on with an old ID from about 2 years ago...and it was still there.  If you can still get to the group, then you should still be able to access the ID associated with the group.  Go through the process and see if you can retrieve or reset your password.

  4. Do you remember the Yahoo ID associated with that password?  Because those are the two things you should enter on the Yahoo login page.  The Group name does not go on the login page - it should appear after you successfully log in and go to http://groups.yahoo.com/ .

If you're sure you have the correct Yahoo ID and password, and it still doesn't work, your only possible recourse would be to contact Yahoo Groups Customer Care by filling out the form at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/... .
