How do I skimboard?

Last summer at Myrtle Beach I bought like a 30 dollar skimboard and now I want to learn how to sand skim. Also where can I get board wax. (any tips will be great)

board wax you will find at any surf shop, beach shop....to skim board you slide the board in front of you right when the water washes up on the sand...run and hop on...it will take a few tries but you will get the hang of it...its really not hard.

first start practicing leaving to board in the water and fine about the right water level to go at. practice running on the board while its stationary then try sliding it in front of you. Its a load of fun but you'll get a couple sprained ankles and wrists.
