How do I solve even and odd functions..????

I have a test tomorrow on neither, even & odd functions .I don't understand or have a clue on how i am suposed to solve. one of the porblems are F(x)= x square root 1-x squared

little fyi the square root of 1-x.. then squaring it.. just cancels out the square and the square root.

but even and odd functions are very easy. just look at their symetry.

look at your x=0 (the vertical line on your axis) and look at the graph (if they don't provide a graph, make one up on paper)  then see if the group goes through 0,0 or if it goes through some other number.. if it goes through 0,0 then its an odd fuction, and if it goes through anothernumber, then its an even.
