  1. Some good answers, for people who like doing it the same way over and over again.

    3(c-4)=9

    Divide both sides by 3

    c-4=3

    c=7

    See! it's easy

    Hope this aids you!

  2. 3c - 12 = 9

    3c = 21

    c = 7

  3. Hey..IT is simple yaar ..

    c-4 = 9/3

    c=3+4

    So, c  = 7

  4. Expand first:

    (3 x c)-(3 x 4) = 9

    3c-12 = 9

    Isolate c

    3c = 9+12

    3c = 21

    divide both sides by 3

    (3c / 3) = (21 / 3)

    c = 21 / 3

    c = 7

    Hope it helped! =)

  5. 3(c - 4) = 9

    3*c - 3*4 = 9

    3c - 12 = 9

    3c = 9 + 12

    3c = 21

    c = 21/3

    c = 7
