  1. Use a wall facing the outside and not a party wall with your neighbours.

  2. s***w the neighbours, since when were darts noisy? Its your house do what you roody well like !

  3. HELLO! All advice so far is incorrect. Thanks for your concern 4 your neighbors, that's the way it should be. However if as described < dartboard in cabinet, wallboard each side single brick in between>  they will not hear anything. You don't have to do anything, 30 years contractor. Good shooting, JERRY.

  4. tell the neighbours to join in if they dont like it, if they still give you grief, tell them to move........ also tell them you hear them f**t when there sleeping, & you dont complain about that, that will shut them up

  5. bit of foam backed carpet will do nicely.

  6. do you live in a paper bag? goodness....do you have m-80's attached to your darts?  put some insulation in a self built box, make the ox the size of the dart board, and very thin, hang the box on the wall, then attach the dart board to the box, youll be all set.

  7. It will help if you open the cabinet.  Darts going into plywood make a sharp crack of a sound.  Into the board itself will make a dull and less audible thud.

  8. Buy some Celotex.

  9. Put wadding on the back of the board, you can even buy special soundproofing material.

  10. Put Bubble Wrap on the back of the Dart Board, this will absorb the noise.
