How do I speed up a family reunification process?

I'm from the US and my sister is a refugee in Germany from Iraq. She has a husband and two childeren. My family applied for family reunification but it takes a very long time. Does anyone know how we can speed the process up? Please help.

  1. The only way is to go back to them.

    I'm not trying to be rude in that answer but the process is long and complicated.

    Many people think we need to "speed it up" or "make it easier" but how can we?  We already allow more immigration then the rest of the world COMBINED.  If we made it any easier we will be at 600 million in 20 years instead of 60 years.

    There are about 7 BILLION people in the world and I would bet that about 2+ Billion would love to come here.  Many of those are great people but the problem is that we are running out of room, money (immigration costs the taxpayers billions of dollars), natural resources, open space, and patience.


  2. There is no way to speed up the process.  They just have to wait in line behind those that filed before they did.
