Question:

How do I speed up a .gif?

I've been playing around with making a .gif from a clip, but the .gif plays a lot slower then the clip. I used VirtualDub and it was slow so I tried Photo Shop CS3 and set the delays between the frames at "No delay" but still was slow. Is there anyway I could speed it up?

Here's the .gif:

And here's the clip with the speed I'm trying to get. (Note: Possible spoiler of "Origin: Spirits of the Past"):

If it isn't possible, any other ways to get that clip as an avatar?

Any tips would greatly be appreciated!

  1. Do you have Adobe ImageReady? That's what I usually use to make gif files, and sometimes have issue with things being a little too *fast*.

I'll open the file with my program and see if I can get it to make any difference.

Edit: Ok, are you able to save these? The only thing I was able to do was remove every other frame to attempt to speed it up. (Which run through won't be of any difference to the eye).

I'm not sure the first was fast enough, so I did it again and it seemed to do the trick, but here are both.
