  1. i think you need a permit to start a daycare

  2. It depends on your state. Most states do not require a license but it's always an added bonus as it reassures parents.

    1) You'll need decide whether you can/want to do this out of your own home or buy/lease a specific facility.

    2) Study the competition / other daycares in your area and see if there actually is a demand!

    3) Check the requirements and get license (call the city / county / state for that) if you can.

    4) Advertise a few weeks before the opening to ensure you'll have children from the start.

    5) Open your daycare (you'll need enough supplies / toys / furniture...)

To find parents who require daycare, you'll need to advertise a bit. Luckily, markegint is pretty easy nowadays:

    A) Tell everyone you know about it (and tell all your local shopkeepers if if possible)

    B) Make and print a few flyers (use your favorite word processing software and use a few clip arts) and pin them to all the bulletin boards you can find (gym, church, ...)

    C) Advertise online on the free sites: for example http://www.daycarebear.com

Also, a good article to read to know what parents are looking for:

    http://www.daycarebear.com/choosing-the-...

    Good luck!

  3. Go to       http://www.dcf.state.fl.us/childcare/    It will tell you what classes you need to have depending on if it's a small home or large home day care or if it is an actual facility. It will also tell how much available space you need to have, both inside an out and you can print out forms for parents even. I have 3 more classes to go then my tests to be a registered small home day care.

    Good luck!

  4. You need to check with your local Department of Family & Children office.  They can tell you the state requirements for Florida.  It all depends on how many children you will have, their ages, and so forth.  Also, you need to have your home or where ever you want to have it inspected and licensed.  There is a lot of paper work to do.  Good Luck!

  5. Go to your State's website. gov  and request a daycare packet.  To teach pre-schoolers, you have to have at least a cda certification.  (in MI anyway).  It as easy as you make it.  I'm in the process also, Be Blessed!

  6. get a permit unless you already have one

    find daycare location

send out flyers and ask to put ads in shops or newspaper

  7. i think you have to get permission from the government and to pass that you have to have a big room
