How do I start a traveling notary service?

I have my notary license and would like to be a traveling notary. How do I go about getting some steady business? Flyers and newspaper ads and.....

Do a internet search for mobile notary business or notary forum,  you can find plenty of information online. Spend alot of time reading and researching. This is not the best time to start in this field as business is down in most areas, due to the  problems in the mortgage and real estate markets.  I have been doing  this business for 4 years.  It is not an easy thing to do, starting your own business. You need to consider all the costs involved.  You need a business plan, and to do plenty of research before  you start. Good Luck!
