How do I start collecting money for a charity?

there are 2 ways...

legally register your charity organisation, just like registering any business company..

or get hired to work by a legally registered charity..

usually 35% of proceeds goes to the organisation, 35% goes to pay the staff, & 30% goes to the people in need of the charity.. It's a great way to get rich quick & make people think that it's sole existence is to help people who need it..

But still, i guess 30% is better than nothing.

Go ahead.  You can sell that all you want and keep the money for your charity.  You can also do a bake sale!  Ask local buisnesses if they will take up collections for you and ask your friends or parents if their companies will sponsor you.
