How do I start my own no-kill animal shelter???

Question

I am 13 now, but I love animals so much, that I want to help them, I need to know how much it would cost to get one, or make one, and if there are any state laws I need to know about. I live in MA right now, Im not going to get an animal shelter now, I'm going to save up, then get/build one when Im old enough. And it wont only be for just cats and dogs, it'll be for all sorts of animals!!! From a hamster to a horse, and everything in butween! Thx :3>

that's a tough one.

id have to say though, that's gonna cost a lot of money.

that's not normal, i mean that's normal for a kid to think that like yourself (Sorry to classify you like that, but by your age you are)

i mean thats just one of those kid like things to want when they get older and as much as you love them, truthfully you prob wont do anything once you get older.

well, u would want to start with just cats & dogs. just use a decent shed, barn, etc. to keep all of the animals in. charge adoption fees (not too much tho) and just keep saving. considering it is a no-kill shelter, you will need to afford a vet, whether you take them to a vet, or or if hire them.

then, as u gain popularity & can afford it, buy (or build) a larger shelter, with large fields and such.

you just need to take small steps, and try not to rush into it too quick. the business may not succeed, so u dont want to end up bankrupt & in debt.

Im thiteen and Im part of the ASPCA and  it where they help animals who have been neglicated or physically abused:( . I hate ppl who do that 2 animals and i LUV animals i think u have to be like 18 or older. but till then try 2 be part of programs that help animals

Better start looking for people to donate food of all kinds for all those animals.
