How do I start my paramedic paper?

I am starting my paramedic class this month. My instructor is having the class right a paper on what we're bringing to ems and how it will change it. I know the direction I want to go with it but I'm not a very good writer and need help starting it. I feel that I am very compassionate and helpful to people and I believe that is a very important part of the job. Pretty much my question is, is how do I start the paper? Once I start it the ball will roll much easier. Thanks in advance for your help.

I think the start you have above is perfect.   The question is what are you bringing to EMS, and how can you change it for the better.  

Your answer is - I feel that I am a very compassionate person, and want to be helpful to the members of the community I serve.  Medical training will help me understand how to help, and my commitment and compassion for people will give me a better understanding of how I can best help them.  In an emergency situation, people are hurt and scared, I need to learn how to address both of those situations to be the most effective EMS I can be.
