Oh what unversities would be great to go to for becoming a pediatrician. I also want to move to a town thats like medium large with not alot of big buildings like Gold Coast . I also would like the town to be by a beach that isn't always crowded with a whole bunch of people there like 309 people. Also don't say Victoria.

  1. The universities with the best medical schools and teaching hospitals are in the larger cities like Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, so at least until you finish your medical education, I'm afraid you'll need to be in a city. Brisbane may be the best city for you based on your questions as it's smaller than the others, has better weather and though you have to travel to the good beaches, they're less crowded than Sydney's (and you said not to mention the V word).

To become a pediatrician, you'll need to do a medical degree at university followed by internship at a hospital and then eventually do your specialist training as a pediatric registrar under supervision. In all, it will take at least  9 years and probably longer. I imagine that the procedure would be much the same in any developed country like the USA or UK.

You should work hard at high school and graduate with good grades so that you can be accepted at one of our universities - entry is very competitive. In some states (Queensland at least), Medicine is a graduate degree so you must do an undergraduate degree like BSc or similar before you go to medical school. I understand that some other states either already adopt this approach or may do so in the future.
