Question:

How do I stay motivated throughout the school year?

I'm going to be a junior in high school come fall. I always love the first week of school: new teachers, new notebooks, etc. But once the school year really gets going and the homework gets harder, the days get longer, and the notebooks start to deteriorate, it's very easy for someone to lose their motivation. This is a problem I have faced every year since 6th or 7th grade. I'm a good student with mostly A's, but I usually start the year with A+'s and end the year with A-'s and B's. I know those are still good, but I would like to keep my grades the same throughout the year as they are at the beginning.

So my question is, how do I stay motivated? How can I wake up every morning and treat each new school day as if it's the first? I would like to know before school starts so I can start the year knowing what to do. Thanks.

  1. Hmm... Try listening to music that makes you happy and confident. Think that the school year isn't over, and if you don't keep up your grades, there will trouble. Just think of the happy things and don't worry about anything.

Put in 100% effort in everything you do. Don't give up! Don't procrastinate!

    Good luck in high school!
