Hey y'all. I am looking for some tips on how to stay organized throughout high school. This is my first year.

Heres the supplies I have, and I really have to work with what I have.

1 5-subject notebook

3 folders

2 2" binders (they really do fit a lot)

Pens, Pencils, Sharpener

Dividers (I have a lot)

Paper

Here are my classes in order:

Fashion Design

World History

Algebra

Spanish

Lunch (obviously not a class)

Intro to Business

Gym/Health

Science

English

Could anyone give me ideas on how to organize all of my stuff? Also, I am not very good at keeping my stuff looking new, so does anyone have tips for that? Thanks a bunch!!!!!

    Anywayss,

Designate each section in ur 5 subject to a different subject.

Likee first onee History, 2nd Algebra, 3rd Spanish, 4th Science, 5th English.

And use one binder for Fashion Design and one binder for intro to business.

Then use the folders on whateverr subjects youu need them in.

Also if uu cant keep things lookingg new maybe youu should take better care of them.

  2. folders folders folders!!!!! keep everything separate.... tabs work too. use dividers and go down the list in order of your classes, and make a divider for each class.. or even buy more folders instead of tabs, which are easier to get stuff in and out of than opening closing those binders and worrying about hole punches.. the better folders are the ones with side pockets, not the bottom pockets, if you have small papers or bent corners, the bottom pockets tend to get things caught up, and sticking out the top of the binder then gets bent and crumbly. side entry folders are easier to put things in because the space is larger.

put the pencil bag on the top with all the supplie, then behind it all your loose leaf paper, then behined the paper, put your tabs, only a few, 5 or 7, then the big folders in class order in the back,

what the tabs can be good for are papers that you will use in class a lot for rules and review, or like the syllabus, things you wont really pull out, but relate to the class, so you can use the tabs for that.

use one side of the folder and label it homework.. so you know what has to be done, and the other side can be completed work or handouts...

the notebook, just keep loose for quick notes on the go....  so if your teacher wants somethin immediate, you acn just grab the notebook and flip to a blank page.  its better to have the notebooks that have the perforated pages, so when you tear them out, you can take off the lil spiral bound ugly edge, and just hand in the clean sheet. those make it easier because teachers hate those lil corners! lol

something cool you can buy thats really not expensive are those post it flags.... they are lil post its that have colored ends like tabs for marking important pages in text, it can also make your 5 subject notebook, a however many subject notebook you want by dividing the tabs even more for classes you dont use it a lot, but want space for it.

just always remind yourself to put things back where they belong, not stuff it in the front pocket or your backpack to sort later. believe me, i did that, and i could never find a thing lol! i was bad at organizing...

keep post its in your locker for reminders, and use your agenda or buy a day planner and write down all assignments and classes that are due!  looking at the agenda nightly will keep you from forgetting to do an assignment!

good luck and have fun in school! even though i hated school,  i always loved the beginning of going back, and new teachers, and new stuff to learn,

i hope you do well, and stay organized!!!

  3. Don't shove in everything all at once, take 5 or 10 mins. a day organizing your things.Put your notebooks and books and stuff in a pile not in messy piles.Always have the materials, supplies, dictionaries, geometry and such ready for each class so you don't have to look for it b4 class and be late! Here are other tips:

              -Keep extras of everything!

-Get a locker organizer things like pencil  holders, whiteboard etc.

It looks to me ur ready for skool just follow these tips and you'll be fine!GL GAL!:D

  4. I'm sorry to say this but there is no way you can live with only that much supplies. You need at least 1 1subject notebook for each class, and a binder for most too.

    You could try this though:

You have Two 2" Binders, so make one afternoon and one morning. Then use your dividers to sepreat a section for each class. Don't forget to put some loose leaf in each binder. Then go out and buy one more 5 subject notebook so you have a morning one and an afternoon. The folders use one for morning one for afternoon and one for all general handouts.
