How do I steam rice in my steamer?

I have an electric steamer that I already use to steam vegetables in but I have no idea how to steam rice!

Advice appreciated!

Rice needs plenty of boiling water to cook it in - for me (personal choice) I wouldn`t steam rice from raw. I use a purpose built rice cooker - 10quid from Ikea & get perfect results every time.

I cook rice in my steamer all the time.  My steamer comes with a rice bowl to which I add 1 cup of basmati rice and one cup of boiling water and steam for 25 minutes.  It makes perfect rice everytime.
