  1. Which anti-spyware are you talking about? If your anti-spyware is acting troublesome remove it and install a different one.

  2. You have spyware on your machine.  go to www.ewido.net and run an online scan to remove the bugs.

  3. PC World and Maximum PC (Magazines) both have reviewed and recommend free downloads that are as good or better than other progams that you would pay for.  I run both Ad-Aware 2008 and Spybot Search and Destroy.  If you run more than one program it gives you better coverage.  For a good (and free) anti-virus, try AVG.

  4. THAT'S HILARIOUS>....

The actual solution is Super Anti Spy Ware.

Its a free anti-spyware\anti-virus program that will remove it.

  5. I have the same problem, and my virus protection wouldn't remove it. You do need to fix the problem fast, now when I start up my computer it shows the background and that is it. You have to hit ctrl-alt-del and run a new task under explorer.exe. Get it fixed immediately!

  6. First off, you do have an infection. No big deal. You need to get a couple of tools first. Get a good AV. I like AVG Free, others like to spend money or Norton. What ever you want to go with is your choice. Next get Spybot. And a last tool to get is Glary Utilities. After you have all of these downloaded, install and update them. Reboot to safe mode. This will normally keep a virus from getting loaded into memory where it is near impossible to get rid of. Once in Safe Mode, run the scans from you AV of choice and Spybot. Clean up any problems found and then go into Glary. There is a registry repair option there. You can use that if you feel that you have registry problems. Once done, reboot your system in normal mode. You should be good to go. Just be careful on your surfing. Bellow are links for the tools I use.

  7. you have major spyware and virus issues, I would suggest buy Norton INternet Security 08, its only like 30 bucks and it will save ur PC

  8. Do you have a pop-up blocker....if not then heres a few to use :

I use McAfee Security it protects my computer from any viruses, spyware ,pop-ups etc...

i used to use Norton Anti-spy, this was also good.

P.S - these softwares both cost money ! But its worth it after all.

    Hope this helped :)

  9. Your question is not too clear. Is it the email messages from those people that you are talking about? If yes, please read on...

    1. It is the emails that you want to get rid of. If it is unsolicited, mark them as "SPAM". Depending on who your email provider is: follow their instructions for that.

Other than that, if you are sure these are spyware, have a spyware detector on your computer. Simplest and cheapest one (free) is the Antispyware tool from Yahoo Toolbar.

  10. It appears that you don't have decent security on your computer.

I have used Norton for 10 years, Mcafee  for 5 years, and Zone Alarm for over the last 6 years. Best program:

    Zone Alarm (ZA)

Free Trial - Pro or Security Suite

    http://www.zonealarm.com/store/content/c...

If you use it, you will want to get the 12 months of free updates. ZA has updates several times a week for anti-spyware, anti-virus periodically, and usually at least one major program update at least once a year.

You can buy it in the store too.

    1. After download or d**k install, unplug from the net.

    2. Set security to your setting. I set high on everything and adjust it for specific sites.

    3. Run the full anti-spyware/ anti-virus check BEFORE going on-line. You will want to isolate any issue away from an Internet connection. If problems found, delete or quarantine them.

    4. Run again until clean.

    5. On XP system, Run Reg Scrup to clean the garbage left in the registry.

    6. Reboot.

    7. Run scan one last time. If ok, connect to the net.

ZA can be set up (click) to scan low level files, hidden files, everything!

You have to adjust the basic settings much higher which can be some effort if you have never done this before. But after 8 years of using this and Norton I have found that Norton could not pick up spy ware like it says it does.

The basic set up is not that great. You have to adjust the setting up to higher security.

Use the "low level scanning" feature in Zone Alarm to find spyware.

I would also use Firefox over Explorer due to most attacks are targets at Explorer.

Fav Firefox add ons without spyware built into them are:

    FlashBlock v1.5 or greater

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...

AdBlock Plus v. o.75 or greater

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...

    Both are free!

They are great ways to take out the annoying ads on the net!

To clean up garbage on your PC assuming you are running XP. This is a great free program I have been using since 2001 with no conflict issues. It does not work with MAC or Vista.

    Lexun RegScrubXP 3.25

    http://www.majorgeeks.com/Lexun_RegScrub...

Another good and FREE program to have on your computer is Spybot 1.6 (new version)

    http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirro...

Keep in mind that these free programs are not the end all be all protection. You need an active firewall, low level scanning anti-spyware, and an anti-virus. Windows firewall doesn't protect at all.

    Using in combination can help.

    Good Luck!

PS Ad-Aware contains spyware! I used to use it, and ran ZA which found the spyware. It comes back after each delete, it is a persistent tracking software.

  11. It depends on how bad it is. They offer help on various sites so if you type the name of the antispyware into google, you can find the answer. It is a long process and involves cleaning the registry. I find it is easier to transfer all my files to a external hard drive and restore my computer.

  12. It means that you still have the visus and you need to totally get rid of it.  It cliams to be anitspywear but it is probibly part of the virus itself.

  13. You should use an antispyware. Antispyware is the best solution of gettiing rid of popups and adware. You can find more information and reviews on anti-spywares at the link below.

  14. There are probably no viruses whatsoever. This company prevents you from entering certain sites without using their anti ware. Do not go to the site in question, since this is an ad. You must have tried to enter the same site with the ad multiple times, or gotten unlucky to get multiple sites with the same ad.

  15. That is malware / spyware / phishing site

If you have antispyware on your computer restart your computer in Safe Mode and scan it.

If you don't have anti spyware goto

    http://www.download.com/Spyware-Terminat...

download, install and run in Safe Mode

  16. XP Antivirus 2008, or Vista Antivirus 2008, or Antivirus XP 2008,  is one of the latest counterfeit antispyware that devastates the wolrd wide web. XP Antivirus 2008 usually come up after you installed a video codec or software patch that come with Trojan, malware and virus. XP Antivirus 2008 normally generates fake and misleading system popup error messages so end-users will be tricked into purchase XP Antivirus 2008, Antivirus 2008 or Vista Antivirus 2008.

Also install Microsofts updates.  This would have been blocked had you installed there malious tool software

  17. 1st go to malwarebytes.org and download rougeremover then run a scan

if that doesnt help then try spy bot search and destroy

    http://safer-networking.org/index2.html

if THAT doesnt help then try super anti spyware
