Question:

How do I stop Capital One credit card services from defrauding me??

I paid off the account, including extra money to cover any extra charges, then CLOSED the account. They sent a refund check for the overpayment nearly two months ago, and now they charged me 2 cents, followed by $45 in fees.

This was charged over a MONTH after the account was closed.

Who do I report them to for credid card fraud?

  1. Sounds like a simple bookkeeping error - not fraud.

Why don't you just call their customer service department and talk to someone istead of making these accusations.

  2. Call  Consumer Affairs, BBB

You can also expose them to your local I TEAM investigative news. They did the same thing to me

IGNORE MIK as Capitol ONE is a RIP OFF. If have dealt with them an you are right in fact most of their employees not only can not understand English but they do not speak it as well.

Again call the two above entities or a fraud attorney.

C One closed my account and was paid in full they continued to charge me fees for an open account until I threatened them with a law suit

  3. better business bureau (BBB). By the way, talk to Capital One and explain the situation. They will take care of it for you perhaps. If you overpaid, then it is their responsibility to refund you the difference. Apparently they refunded you 2 cents more. Talk to them and have it taken care of.
