How do I stop Koolaid and other powdered drinks from creating a dust when I pour the powder?

When I pour peach tea powder into a pitcher, the mist/dust goes everywhere. What are some ways to reduce the waste?

Happens to me all the time and the sugar from it sticks up the counter if I do not clean it right away.  So now  I use a funnel.

pour it close to the water and also do it slowly

Let the liquid slide on the side of the pitcher to the bottom, the same way you pour beer to avoid a big head of lather.
