Once or twice daily a Telus Text to land line comes in on my home phone and it's getting annoying. Telus says they can do nothing although it is their service. Any one out there know how to stop these calls?

  1. Best I can suggest is to upgrade your telephone to something like the new Panasonic DECT 6.0 model KX-TG9312C or KX-TG9332C cordless phones.

I have this phone, and it has two really cool features.

One is called "Night Mode", which blocks calls from ringing your phone between the night time hours you specify.  I use this because I don't like being disturbed by wrong number calls in the middle of the night.

The other feature is called "Block Calls".  This will block Caller-ID's that you specify from ringing your phone.  Of course you need to have Caller-ID service enabled in order for this to work for you.

Once you have identified the bothersome caller-ID's, just put those numbers in the Block list and you shouldn't have any further problems from those callers.
