How do I stop Windows Vista from automatically rearranging files in my folder?

I created a new folder on my desktop, and in that folder I have many media files that I have manually arranged in a specific order that doesn't go with any of the default order system that Windows Vista has in all folders setup at the top (i.e.: Name, Date modified, Type, Size, & Tags). Everytime I restart my computer when I come back to that folder I see that Windows Vista has automatically rearranged the files (usually by name). I had set up the files in my folder in a specific way FOR A REASON, and it's really frustrating & annoying when I have to rearrange it back many times because Windows Vista keeps automatically doing it on it's on. How can I stop Windows Vista from doing this?
