How do I stop Yahoo weather alerts on my mobile when it says I have no alerts created in the alert organizer ?

I have tried to reply to Yahoo with a "please remove from sending list".

I have tried to get Verizon to block it.

I have tried to create it again then delete it but I still get one every day... SOMEONE PLEASE HELP STOP THE MADDNESS!!! Thanx in advance.

I am having the same problem and I think it has something to do with recycled numbers and that the person who had the number before signed up for the alerts and never canceled them. I have no idea how to stop them though.
