How do I stop a group from spamming me to join them?

Question

I have received at least 10 invitations to join this group, new-homebizness-revolution2k8.

I emailed the moderator and asked them to stop sending me invites yet I just received another one. I want them to stop.

put them on your SPAM folder or list

This will put a stop to that real quick and will also prevent them from adding you to their groups!

Go to your "My Groups" page -here is the link: http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups

Near the upper right side, click on "My Email Preferences".

To the far right of the email address used for groups, click "Edit".

Under "Group Invitations", click on the checkmarks to REMOVE them from the squares to the left of "Allow group moderators to directly add me to their groups" and "Allow group moderators to invite me to their groups".

Click "Save Changes".
