How do I stop a roomate from being so obnoxious?

I'm in student housing, in an apartment and I have a roomate that loves to use the couch in the living room as her bed. It's really ackward, because if I want to watch tv or something she's always passed out on it. I've suggested a few times that she go lay down on her bed if she's tired. It's like she just doesn't listen--she has an excuse for everything. She literally plants her *** down watching tv in the afternoon until 4 in the morning--waking up and falling asleep etc...I just don't think that a community sofa should be used as a bed. Her hair is all over it and she eats meals there and gets crumbs everywhere. She's just really inconsiderate.

What do I do?

Just be honest with her about it and if she has a problem with it ask her to pay more in rent.  You could always prank her with itching powder but then you will need a new couch.  Maybe hint at the fact that the couch stinks.

get everybody to your side and tell her BRUTALLY FRANKLY (since persuasions won't work) that she is getting under your skin and that it's everybody's couch.

that is, if you haven't done so.

if you have done so, tell her to your landlady.

if you have done so, buy another couch. and pray for her conversion. ^^
