How do I stop being dragged into a second game of backgammon at the end of one game?

Suddenly, my opponent has started a second game and refuses to "quit and cancel".

I think you entered one of those rooms that require you and your opponent to continually raise the stake during the game, until it pass a certain number (might be different for different rooms). If the number is not reached before the end of the game, it automatically gets you into a next game, and so on. I had experienced that once... Read the description before you pick a room might be wise. ;)
