Question:

How do I stop being "paranoid" and letting things get to me so QUICKLY?!?

I honestly need to know how to break this cycle. When something bothers me I tend to spend all night thinking about it. I will analyze the scenario and wonder if I acted in the right way or if I should have said more to someone or held my tongue and sometimes it will bring me down because if I'm in a confrontation sometimes I don't know if I'm saying the right stuff, or if I should just take the high road and let the other person act a fool.

I just want to know how do i keep my mind clutter free without thinking so much about "what I could have done, what I didn't do, and if I did or didn't do it right"

make sense?

  1. I don't know how your appearance could make you look shy but if it does, change your appearance.  Get you a new confident hair style and a couple of new outfits that will build your confidence.

I don't know if you believe in the Bible or not but here a a few scriptures that might help you:

Colossians 3:12  Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Ephesians 4:32  Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

    The verses are on retenge:

Romans 12:10-21  Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written:  "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord.  On the contrary; "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.  In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."  Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Romans 12:14  Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.

Matthew 5:43-44  You have heard that it was said, "Love your neighbor and hate your enemy."  But I tell you; Love your enemies and pray  for those who persecute you.

If people treat you unkindly and say unkind things to you, just smile at them and say something like "bless you for saying that, I hope it made you feel better."  Then walk away.

God made you just like he made everyone else.  Have confidence in the fact that they will one day reap their punishment from God for being mean to you.   So you be nice to them  and don't forget to smile and if they continue to critize you or make fun at you, their punishment will be even greater.  God has promised this and he never breaks a promise.

Forget about these people and go to sleep.  They have to make themselve look better by putting others down.  Why are you worring about people like this.  I feel sorry for them that they don't have the confidance in themselves that they have to put others down to get confidance.

Blessing - Now go to sleep!
