  1. Lessons grasshopper,  Learn and improve...its really pretty simple.

  2. Two suggestions.  the first is to find a PGA Professional and take lessons.  You will be taught the proper way to swing.

If that is not a possibility, go to Toys-R-US and buy a set of water wings for about $10.00.  Partially inflate one of the water wings and slide it onto your right arm onto the bicep.  When you start your downswing, your first move is to use your arm to squeeze the water wing against your body.

Many Pros use this method to stop golfers from coming over the top.

  3. If you cannot understand the seqeunce of the backswing, you will not perform the downswing properly. Thus, your best bet is to consult with a teaching professional who will point out the importance of the takeaway, twisting your torso and shoulders, loading the  right side, getting to club to parallel on all full golf shots, initiating the downswing by transferring your weight, bringing the club into the impact position with bent wrists, hitting through the ball in line with your target and finishing with a complete follow through. This will eliminate the arm swing start. The only casting you will be doing is with the trout rod.

  4. Oh,my......a very common mistake in your swing that many share, or have shared.  I could list a number of things here that might suggest an answer to the problem...but just reading about it and trying to go to the range and execute the suggestions.......just doesn't work.  If you really like golf, want to play to your expectations and enjoy the game for life.....please, go see a professional golfer at your local golf couse/club, and find out what he can do to help you.  Most professionals that do teach are like specialists, and can determine what your problems are, then set up a lesson, or lessons, and start working with you.  Even many of the PGA Professionals have a coach/teacher, so why not you.  I've played the game for over 40 years, and it wasn't until I started taking lessons and learning, not just about my golf swing, but about golf itself and how to manage my game on the golf course.  There is absolutely nothing to lose in this investment, and everything to gain.

Good luck...and give it a try. I do think it will make your golf game a lot better....and a lot more fun when you start hitting so many more good shots.

  5. under your right armpit hold a headcover there the whole swing and turn your body as far as you can in your back swing and see if that works.
